Initiative to Help Students for University Application

Global exposure is a golden KEY for students to grow in their professional careers. Sometimes various socio-economic challenges become a hurdle for many bright students to land on their dream career, which could be solved by directing them in the right direction. LetstalkMineralProcessing is taking the initiative to guide students from the Earth Science disciplines through personal mentoring for university applications without any charges. It started to guide and giving necessary tools to apply at global universities. Yesterday, we had our first zoom meet with a Ph.D. student. He is willing to go abroad and learn the essential skills for his academic career in Mining Engineering.

This initiative does not provide any referral for job searches. Still, it tries to make a platform where students can speak about their doubts, and we are dedicated to helping them with step-by-step guidance to approach industry and universities. A detailed guide for students and explicit help to solve the university application by finding funding for their education. As stated earlier no monetary support or consulting fees for this guidance. Anyone willing to participate could send an email to sachinasra21@gmail.com  or comment on this post to reach us.

Mentor, sachin urade has been through this rigorous process to apply to universities and successfully starting his graduate studies in Metallurgical Engineering at Mackey School of Mines, University of Nevada Reno. He shares his knowledge free of cost, which makes this process entirely transparent for us. He is willing to help at least three students this year. In the subsequent time, he will lead a large group of students for university application, visa process, and starting new academic life in a foreign country.

If you want to be part of this initiative and are willing to become a mentor, you can email us at sachinasra21@gmail.com or comment here on this post, and our team will approach you.

You can support us to make LetsTalkMineralProcessing bigger and greater by helping to build the website and donate money to organize lecture websites on this page.

Thank You

How I applied concepts of Mineral Engineering in real life.

https://www.indianhealthyrecipes.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/03/dosa-recipe.jpg I t was my first class in the second year when prof Nikkam Suresh, who was the Head of the department at that time, introduced mineral engineering in a very exemplary manner, which is impossible to forget for any of his students. I found many terms that can be correlated to my life; that's why I chose to be in this field despite recent job loss and unprecedented time where I cannot go to the USA and do my enrolled MS in metallurgy. Whatever the thing is, I invested my five years in this field, and now I want to stick with that.   Coming to the main topic, today, my mom gave me the job to make "Dosa." Those who don't know what Dosa is a rice pancake, originating from South India, made from a fermented batter. It is somewhat similar to a crepe in appearance. Its main ingredients are rice and black gram, ground together in a fine, smooth batter with a dash of salt.: Mom was in a hurry, so she

Virtual Australian Showcase on Mining Safety

It will present the Australian state government's views on the legislation and enforcement of safety parameters and an Australian consultant’s brief on including safety in the entire mining value chain. There will also be an Indian mining industry’s perspective on safety. Insights of Rake Arms in Classifiers.

https://www.tenova.com/fileadmin/ The miner processing plant is designed to beneficiate desirable mineral from the gangue, and for that, the ore should be crushed and ground up to the liberation size. Currently, the liberation size of most of the metal is below 200 microns. To benefit this ore, wet processing is in the heart of mineral processing, which caused lots of water content in the final products. For removal of liquid from the pulp or slimes, which is a mixture of solid particles and liquid are passed through the thickener.   Thickener is the device through which liquid gets separated. Earlier, this process is done by employing a cylinder to fill with the pulp and then rest for the sedimentation. Sedimentation cause settling of particle and then the water is removed, and solids get separate. However, this was the batch process and took a considerable time. Therefore, inventors tried to operate sedimentation in a continuous process. However, the continuous process is practic
